Chicago; bike friendly city with a strong personal brand and a landslide of yes's

took a trip to chicago over the weekend. went on a couple long bike rides through the city and along the lake. have to appreciate the efforts they're making to accommodate bicyclists. the areas on the sides of the road reserved for bikes is something every city should have.

as an entry level fixed gear rider with minimal inner-city riding experience i felt very comfortable.

also enjoyed the culture and style of the place. the city itself had a brand that was simple but strong.

yes's also outweighed no's in a significant way that is always an appealing attribute.

(something that i would like to say we have here but can't convince myself of)
